PJ Hultstrand's Author Blog
I will write about being an author, the writing process and about the publishing process.
Welcome all readers to my world. The world of time-travel possibilities.
About the author
Patti Hultstrand
"The clock of life is wound but once,
and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop,
at late or early hour.
Now is the only time you own.
Live, love, toil with a will.
Place no faith in time.
For the clock may soon be still."
Found this somewhere years ago and it was anonymous. Loved the symbolism and felt connected to the ideas.
Here is the first look at the wrap around book cover for the 2nd book in the Chasing Time series, for the book, "Rescue In Time". That do you guys think about the look?
NEW COVER for BOOK 2 - Rescue in Time
Let me know here what you think. Now that I have the cover, I will finish up the interior and get this into print.
TAKING ALL PRE-ORDERS NOW for this one.
BOOK 3 will be going to editor in next week or two.
Will tell you the title when I make a decision on that. Maybe tonight, who knows. Maybe I have enough motivation to get them done.
For all those NEW readers, I am already writing BOOK 5, so you have a good reason to jump on this Chasing Time Series of what I have planned as a 12-14 book serial.

The eBook hasn't come out yet because I have been busy since Labor Day, moving my 16 yr old son and myself from a larger house into a smaller place. Had to downsize from a house I had lived in for almost 25 years. Found so much junk and stuff in every corner of my house that I had to sort and try to sell in garage sales and on Craig's List (for the furniture).
Had to get back up quickly in the apartment because I couldn't be down in the business for more than a day or 2. I sell other author's books thru Amazon and they only give 2 days to send the books, since I am distributing these myself.
Am now distributing and shipping books from a closet in my apartment instead of storing all the books in my garage. Big difference and someday, shipping out of my closet during these lean years in my business, will be funny. But for now, I am adapting and thank God I found a terrific printer who can drop ship individual books for me OR print very small quantities so I can still hang clothes and store more than just author's books in that closet.
If you are looking for "Rescue In Time" in eBook format, I will get my butt in gear and put it up for purchase by the end of this week. It's amazing how much a person can get done when their is incentive to do so.
Unfortunately, if you bought the book thru Barnes & Noble, it may take forever and a day to get the new book thru their gate. It took from December 9, 2009 until recently to get "Time Conquers All" into their system. Such is the plight of the small publisher in the book distribution system.
I could, however, make other suggestions if you are game.
Shoot me an email at your convenience and I will forward an alternate location for your eBook purchase and you will be one of the first who are privie to when I put that book up for sale.
Thanks,
Candy
